We begin with your inquiry via phone, email, or our website, promptly recording your details into our customer relationship management (CRM) system.

We conduct a thorough tree survey of your site, which is complimentary with no obligation to go ahead. This survey assesses each tree's health and safety, prioritising the balance between the health and longevity of the tree and the safety of people, property, and vehicles.

Each tree will be individually numbered. We will verify whether there are an existing Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs). The comprehensive survey and quotation document will include: 

  • A detailed list of all surveyed trees
  • A clear description of the necessary work for each tree
  • Individual pricing for each tree
  • A tree map illustrating the location of each tree

Once agreed, we will manage all necessary TPO applications with the relevant local council. Once approval is granted, we will perform the work in strict adherence to British Standard 3998 recommendations. 

Following each site visit, you will receive an automated Job Card. This document will detail the tasks completed during that visit, including before and after photographs.

A Tree Preservation Order (TPO) is a legal tool employed by local planning authorities in England to safeguard specific trees, groups of trees, or woodlands that contribute significantly to the amenity of an area. Essentially, a TPO acts as a protective measure, preventing: cutting down or felling a tree, topping to reduce the height, lopping to remove major branches, uprooting or wilfully damaging or harming the tree.

Yes. We are experienced in caring for trees under a TPO, or Tree Preservation Order, working with the relevant local council to ensure any work we recommend and carry out is fully compliant. We put the health of the trees front and centre without compromising the safety of any people, property, or vehicles using the area. All our tree surgery and TPO work adheres to British Standard 3998. We will apply for and process the Tree Preservation Orders on your behalf, included in the price on the survey/quotation.

All our staff are trained and qualified appropriately to carry out the work asked of them. They are backed up by professional office staff and a robust management team who provide support and quality control. We are insured for £ 10 million, indemnified, and backed by SafeContractor and SafeWorkforce H&S compliance.
